About Us

Building a Legacy Through Township Sports

Founded in 2024, BATHO PELE TOURNAMENTS is a grassroots sports initiative born out of a vision to uplift and empower communities through sports. What started as a local sporting event has grown into a powerful movement that brings hope, pride, and opportunity to young people across townships and rural areas.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to develop local talent, foster community engagement, and drive positive change through well-structured soccer tournaments. We believe that sport has the power to transform lives, instill discipline, and create pathways for youth to achieve their dreams.

As we gear up for our next editions, our mission remains clear: to develop a consistent and inclusive platform that uplifts communities through sport. We envision a future where every young person, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to pursue their dreams and contribute positively to society. Through Batho Pele Kasi Tournaments, we’re not just playing soccer — we’re building a legacy of hope, pride, and empowerment for generations to come.
